Collection: Caran D'ache

Founded in Geneva in 1915, Caran d’Ache has become a symbol of creativity, quality, and Swiss craftsmanship. Originally named Fabrique Genevoise de Crayons, the brand took its iconic name in 1924. Caran d'Ache means pencil in Russian and has its roots in the Turkish word "kara-tash" which means black stone, in reference to graphite. Still a family-owned company, Caran d’Ache combines nearly 90 different crafts under one roof, producing high-quality drawing and writing instruments, from coloured pencils to pastels and gouache.

Committed to excellence, sustainability, and the well-being of its employees and customers, the brand maintains the highest standards in every stage of production. With over 400 shades developed from a hundred pigments, Caran d’Ache’s instruments embody a century-long passion for colour, creativity, and self-expression for artists of all ages and skill levels.
