The body has a new shape that is easy to hold, with a rounded design on the tip and rear of the shaft. The body color is a simple off-white that blends in with the items you carry around every day, and the ball diameter is 0.5 mm, which is the ultra-fine type that is ideal for writing in notebooks and documents.

Pilot's proprietary "Friction Ink" and can erase handwriting by rubbing it with a special erasing rubber using frictional heat. The frictional heat generated by rubbing with the special rubber on the back of the body reaches the erasing setting temperature, causing the ink to turn colorless and erasing the handwriting.
