Kyupodo Todai Notebook - Night

Kyupodo is a letterpress studio in Japan that creates stationery with a touch of whimsy and playful fantasy. It is a notebook to write letters in the waves. In the first half and the second half of the note, the design is slightly changed to express the passage of time. Made with writing paper from Life for a smooth feel.

Halftone color silver is used for the body paper. Color kraft paper that is hard to see through and has a calm texture. Light gray with the image of night. You can write beautifully with colored ink.

The motif of the back cover is related to the lighthouse such as Fresnel lenses and light bulbs. The door is an index page with a nautical chart as a motif. (Common for day and night) For the cover paper, a textured paper was use to evoke the outer wall of the lighthouse.

A slim notebook that is smaller than the A5 and easy to carry!
